
William Ford

William Ford is a development practitioner with expertise in donor research and cultivation, governance and human rights, and business development. In addition to conducting research on public and private donors, he has developed and led workshops on donor outreach and business development for organizations in Cambodia and Myanmar. William served as Freedom House’s first Country Representative in Myanmar, where he designed, pitched, launched and implemented programs on think tank development, inter-religious conflict and policy advocacy. He was the business development lead for Freedom House’s Southeast Asia Program and was a key contributor to Freedom House’s Global International Religious Freedom business development. He has led proposal efforts for USAID, OTI, DFATD, DFID, SIDA, FCO and others. William offers a combination of thematic knowledge and program management ability with business development and strategic management skills.
