Sujata is an international development professional with over twenty years of experience in project design and management, organizational capacity building, strategic planning, new business development and team leadership and coordination. She has a proven track record engaging key audiences and stakeholders to create, strengthen and advance a wide variety of public health initiatives.
As a seasoned public health professional, Sujata has supported projects in many cultural and political environments including: Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda, Vietnam.
In her career working for numerous international agencies and NGOs, she has managed complex project start-up and successfully developed and supported large multidisciplinary and multicultural teams. Her core skill sets include program and partnership design and development, conducting institutional and capacity needs assessment and delivery of training to support organizational growth. Her technical expertise includes HIV/AIDS, gender/girls empowerment, umbrella grants management (technical and administrative components) and USG funds administration and staff mentorship.
