Shari Bush has over twenty years of experience in the field of international development with a focus on rural community development, natural resource management, farming systems and gender. She specializes in program design and management, new business development, strategic planning, training/facilitation, and team leadership and coordination. She has served as program director, business development manager, technical consultant, trainer, and project manager for numerous international agencies, NGOs, consulting firms, and academic institutions. She currently serves as an independent consultant and co-chairs the Environment Workgroup at the Society for International Development. Shari’s countries of work experience include Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Cambodia, Colombia, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Guatemala, India, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Malawi, Peru, South Africa, Spain, Tanzania, Thailand, and Vietnam.
