Rebecca Kohler is a seasoned global health leader and strategist. She has worked with countless organizations and institutions across over 50 countries around the world to ensure that people everywhere have the healthcare they need to thrive. Most recently, she served as a senior executive at IntraHealth International where she has provided vision and leadership for the successful execution of multi-year organizational strategies, achievement of business development targets, strengthening board governance, formulation of strategic alliances, and shaping organizational brand and reputation. She led the business development function for over a decade where she was directly responsible for securing more than $800 million in competitive cooperative agreements, contracts, and grants from USAID, CDC and other bilateral and multilateral donors and private philanthropy. Over a 30-year career devoted to fostering solutions to health care challenges, Rebecca has held key leadership, management, technical, and advisory positions in the US and around the world for several global health organizations. An experienced global health practitioner, Rebecca has hands-on experience designing and working on health systems and health services programs designed to improve health outcomes in family planning, integrated reproductive, maternal, infant, and child health and nutrition, HIV/AIDS, and non-communicable diseases. She holds a master's degree in public health from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and a bachelor's degree from Duke University.
