With over 25 years working with large and small organizations to strategically expand their funding and development management systems, Mark offers comprehensive experience in every aspect of organizational and resource development for medical and wellness centers, universities, community-based organizations, and cause-oriented political action committees. His expertise includes: start-up research, planning and build-out of new organizations and new initiatives within existing organizations; staff and leadership recruiting; organizational operations; strategic budget planning and management; development operations and reporting systems implementation; fundraising campaign feasibility, priorities assessment, goal setting and campaign management; research and identification of potential public and private funding partners; grant RFP design and proposal creation; grant program management, award distribution and reporting; individual philanthropy at all levels especially leadership support; philanthropic estate planning; funder reporting and recognition systems designed to deepen relationships and increase support; advisory board development; project management with internal and external partners; business development including contract development and public/private partnerships; government relations and advocacy. Mark maintains an extensive network of public and private funding decision-makers in the Bay Area and nationally. He also has both U.S. and European Union citizenship.
