Scope of Work
 

Integrity seeks a Finance Manager with a range of skills and competencies to support a growing team in Integrity’s US Office. The Finance Manager will support the company’s financial management team in preparation of financial plans, preparation of financial reports, managing all financial aspects of donor funded programs, building financial capacity, monitoring, and compliance. Specific responsibilities include:

 

A. Project Planning and Monitoring (70%)

  • Participate in preparing USAID financial reports and invoicing.

  • Maintain QuickBooks to ensure all expenditures are accurately accounted for and financial statements contain accurate information and proper allocation of donor funds.

  • Budgeting, costing, internal and external reporting, and other support for financial analysis.

  • Review field office monthly financial reports and submit to finance for posting. 

  • Review field office supporting documentation to ensure regulatory compliance, allowability, and reasonableness.

  • Review budget, projections, and monthly reporting.

  • Providing administrative and compliance support.

  • Perform financial analysis and management reporting as requested.

B. Financial policies, procedures, and compliance (20%):

  • Develop, review, implement, and administer policies and procedures for accounting and financial management to ensure adequate internal controls and appropriate regulatory compliance, in conjunction with other Finance and Program staff.

  • Provide support and guidance to new country offices in setting up financial systems and processes.

  • Respond to finance related inquiries from field office staff

  • Provide support in facilitating external or internal donor audits.

C. Management (5%)

  • Develop, review, implement, and administer policies and procedures for accounting and financial management to ensure adequate internal controls and appropriate regulatory compliance, in conjunction with other Finance and Program staff.

  • Provide support and guidance to new country offices in setting up financial systems and processes.

  • Respond to finance related inquiries from field office staff

  • Provide support in facilitating external or internal donor audits.

 

D. Learning (5%)

  • Reserved for professional development and learning activities.

Your Experience and Expertise

It is essential you have:

  • A minimum 3+ years’ work in a leading organization and bachelor’s, master’s, or an MBA with a specialization in finance or other relevant degree(s) in finance or related field (or the equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial and technical systems desired.

  • Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

  • Knowledge of USG regulations over assistance and contracts; including Uniform Guidelines, 2 CFR 200, FAR

  • A proactive and positive approach as a team player who enjoys helping users.

Languages:

  • Written and oral fluency in English, with the ability to write clear and compelling narratives/briefings.
