Ellen is a global health professional with extensive experience in sexual and reproductive health, maternal health and family planning. Ellen has worked for international NGOs and as an independent consultant in the United States, Asia and Africa, developing and implementing quality programs, mobilizing resources, fostering innovation and achieving results. She has extensive experience in leadership and organizational development, teambuilding and coaching, and recently added a Certified Professional Coaching diploma to her toolbelt. Her strengths include strategic thinking, entrepreneurship, communication skills and building trust. Ellen excels at identifying and growing unique ideas, negotiating and building strong partnerships, developing critical talent and proposal development. She has successfully raised funds from key global health donors, including USAID, DFID, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
