Job Description
Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is a global humanitarian agency providing relief and development assistance to individuals in 130 countries regardless of their ethnicity, political affiliation, gender, or religious association. ADRA seeks an experienced Director for Data Collection, Analytics, and Use to lead the ethical measurement, learning, and adaptation for the anticipated USAID/ Nepal Adolescent Reproductive Health activity that will expand the demand, supply, and use of quality, adolescent-responsive reproductive health services and products through a systems strengthening approach. The ideal candidate will be experienced in both traditional M&E systems and dynamic, integrated adaptive management analysis.
Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for measuring and analyzing effective approaches and activity performance in a comprehensive performance monitoring plan

Lead collection and analysis of data from a variety of sources to ensure effective programmatic approaches and project performance

Oversee the effective analysis and use of data to adjust programmatic approaches at the national and municipal levels

Together with the Chief of Party and Deputy Chief of Party, implement adaptive management approaches with a direct connection between data and continuous program learning

Provide high quality data-informed insights, analysis, and graphics for reports, workplans, communication materials, and other program deliverables in a timely manner

Manage, supervise, or coach M&E staff and consultants in a positive, respectful work environment

Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Masters or Doctoral level degree in statistics, study design, research methods, monitoring and evaluation, or a related field with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership

Minimum eight years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, study design/management or statistical analysis in the development sector

Significant understanding of data analytics and statistical analysis with proven experience using SPSS, Stat, or SAS to conduct analysis of large datasets – including quantitative and qualitative data – and producing publishable quality reports

Experience designing and managing M&E systems that include appropriate indicators, baseline data, and targets with a plan to evaluate performance and produce accurate analysis for reader-friendly reporting

Experience with collaboration, continuous learning, and adaptive management systems that translate data and research findings into appropriate programmatic interventions

Excellent spoken and written Nepali and English language skills

Ability to travel to program field locations
